I started making these small studies on paper during my commitment to the 100 Day Project and I’ve continued to use the format to explore mixed media, color and texture.

In this piece I experimented with a hand-rubbed Lino-cut print of a tiger cat sleeping I had set aside as a project I was no longer pursuing and the remaining paint on my palette from painting. Rather than discard the leftover paint, I pull it into these studies to combine with other leftover ideas.
